This includes delivering focused alarm improvement programmes on both batch and continuous processes, helping manufacturing companies to understand the issues and to reap the benefits of improvement.

ABB’s consultants are actively involved in defining alarm management good practice and work closely with both the HSE and EEMUA. ABB are also full members of EEMUA and their consultants sit on the committee responsible for both the original EEMUA 191 document entitled, ‘Alarm Systems – A Guide to Design, Management and Procurement’ and the current update. With more than 15 years process industry experience, ICS also has extensive knowledge in the field of alarm management and have sold over 1000 of their IMAC systems to companies all over the world.
